At VWFS UK we are on an exciting journey and we are looking for a Rental Operations Analyst to join our Mobility Fleet team. Our business is evolving and the Rental Operations Analyst is at the heart of it by supporting, managing and developing our rental locations to develop the Rent-a-Car proposition within the marketplace. Reporting to the General Manager of Sales & Location Operations, the primary purpose of this role is to support the location network and Regional Sales & Operations Managers with operational tasks, whilst also generating and analysing KPI reports. Delivering exceptional customer service at all times and being commercially aware are key attributes required for the role.
What you will be responsible for…
- Generate and produce key MI reports on a regularly basis to meet required deadlines
- Manage and facilitate month end processing for Head Office and the location network
- Check and authorise vehicles that match each location, escalating discrepancies to General Manager of Sales & Location Operations, with suggestions of resolution
- Analyse revenue reports by source and report on accessory sales, online, retail or corporate business by individual location and all locations to feed into MI reporting accurately
- Analyse insurance reports vs claims to identify problem locations and escalate to General Manager of Sales & Location Operations and investigate further to resolve
- Analyse utilisation report and advise Regional Sales & Operations Managers of locations with over/under utilisation trends ensuring fleet are distributed correctly that will support the Rent-a-Car Mobility USP
- Create, manage and distribute to Mobility Team KPI league table using business performance figures
- Support where necessary, by attending Rental Location review meetings with Regional Sales & Operations Managers including providing additional rental systems training and coaching
- Provide Dealer support and resolutions relating to rental systems, insurance and invoice issues
- Conduct audits of standards at Rental Locations to ensure standards are maintained and feedback is consistent whilst sharing of best practice
- Co-ordinate Network Conference event with the Mobility Team and location network
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of:
- Rental experience within the automotive industry (desirable)
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and consider resolve outputs
- Solid organisational, planning skills and is deadline driven
- Strong commercial awareness
