About the Role


As a Renewal Sales Executive you will be responsible for renewing software subscriptions within our existing customer base, whilst upselling our newer portfolio. You will engage with various levels of customer contacts, primarily over the phone, to create compelling propositions to match their, and our, growth aspirations. You will also work collaboratively with other internal teams to ensure that our customers are receiving value from their existing investment in Siemens and generally advance their Siemens journey through your strong rapport building and a consultative partnership.

Area of Responsibility

  • Establishing and executing a plan to engage existing customers both on-line and on the phone.
  • Engaging customers through a variety of primarily remote methods, supporting the advancement of customers through milestones in their buyer’s journey including adoption, expansion, and renewal.
  • Coordinating and working alongside other teams, as necessary, to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Analysis of customer commercial situation, alignment to Siemens’ objectives, internal policies and procedures, followed by creation of compelling offers.
  • Closing of business along with ownership of internal, Siemens processes.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with working with people on the phone, building relationships
  • Experience in a commercial situation, analyzing needs, building propositions, and closing agreements
  • An organized, self-starter. You will be comfortable taking ownership of situations, planning your approach, and seeing through to the end, ensuring the details
  • Comfortable working in a wide team, collaborating with multiple individuals and stakeholders

Whilst experience of either the software industry or our customer’s industries is of interest, it is not a pre-requisite. A positive attitude and willingness to learn is more important.
