Role: Remote Telephone Receptionist
Department: Mercedes-Benz Business Development Centre
Location: Hybrid (2days in office), Swindon
Package: Basic Pay £10.50 p/h
Weekend pay £12.50 p/h

Key Objectives
- Be the first line of communication – greeting customers who call into each dealership, in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer all incoming telephone calls for the dealership, in accordance with company policy
- Deal with customer requirements in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other colleagues to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction
- Promote excellent customer and public relations to help grow the perception and image of each dealership
- Act as an ambassador, representing and demonstrating the brand values
Main Duties
- Answer all incoming calls in a timely, professional and confident manner
- Assist in finding the right information and directing/transferring customers in a professional manner
- Qualify calls in an efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction with call transfer process (right place, first time)
- Take clear messages and deliver them in an efficient way
- Escalate calls using the correct procedure (as per flow diagram provided during initial training) and ensure process for contacting Head of Business/logging result of call using SAM platform, is followed at all times
- Maintain an ongoing rapport with all customers
- Support team colleagues as and when required
- Attend training courses as deemed necessary by Line Managers
- Continue and maintain a reasonable knowledge of the brand
