Job description
This role is responsible for first line customer service provision at the London centre including the smooth running of all aspects of dog rehoming, working to ensure every Battersea customer receives an excellent standard of customer care, whether they rehome a dog or not. You will lead the London dog Rehoming and Customer Service team through motivation and development to support them in achieving their full potential, collaborating with Rehoming and Welfare Managers within the cattery team to identify process improvements and streamline dog and cat rehoming processes. You will work with the welfare, fostering, clinic and behaviour departments to ensure the rehoming voice is present throughout a dog’s journey at Battersea, evaluating and developing procedures to ensure Battersea dogs go to the right homes, without unnecessary delays and receive post-rehoming support. You will work closely with the other dog Rehoming & Welfare Managers to ensure the London sites dog occupancy remains on target, whilst supporting on dog assessing, kennel standards and working to create excellent public and dog spaces onsite.
