The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join our friendly and supportive team on a temporary, 9–12-month contract, starting in August, with the possibility to become permanent. This is a full-time position working 40 hours over a four day period (days to be confirmed at interview) and includes a 1 in 5 Saturday morning in these hours. There are no out of hours.You will join a friendly and supportive team of four vets and 5 RVNs as well as VCAs, nursing auxiliaries and an experienced client care team.
The clinic is well equipped for medical and surgical care of patients, treating a varied case load of small animals, cats, dogs and small mammals.
Experience is essential as we are passionate about nurse consultations and a keen interest in more specialised nursing clinics would be supported. The role also involves a variety of first opinion work including, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with radiography and ultrasound, laboratory work, assisting the vets with consultation work and occasional admin and reception cover.
Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience.

We have an amazing team of extremely experienced Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary care assistants.
We offer a well-equipped clinic, fully equipped operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory.
About the Team and Culture
Our supportive team is made up of 4 vets, one of which is enrolled in a GP vet certificate. We have 5 RVNs, our head nurse is an ECC certificate holder and has a keen passion for nursing clinics.Our nurses have different areas of interest and therefore we offer a wide variety of clinics, including weight clinics, mobility clinics, diabetic clinics, feline medicine clinics, dermatology clinics, senior clinics, behaviour clinics.
We are a very friendly team, full of fun and personality, and there is always cake!
