Job description
As a Technology Compensation Manager Vice President, you will implement compensation strategies and initiatives that directly support the business. You will be responsible for the Technology function across the EMEA region, working with global counterparts. You will lead the global compensation strategy for specific groups within Technology, devise and implement compensation approaches to attract, reward and retain the talent necessary to meet the business’s goals in a rapidly changing environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide counsel to HR professionals and business managers about compensation decisions; interpret and apply policies, often in complex situations;
- Help to design and implement overall comp strategy for clients, and influencing/ articulating to senior management;
- Perform independent analysis of internal and external benchmarking data to support compensation needs. Investigate and communicate compensation best practices;
- Provide end-to-end annual compensation planning and administration support for the sub-groups client base;
- Review market data and update ranges for the Technology function;
- Ad Hoc Project work as it relates to compensation policies/procedures;
- Review and approval of offer packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with corporate governance guidelines;
- Provide compensation support and expertise through business acquisitions and organic growth;
- Oversight of annual CRD5 and other EMEA Regulations process for the Technology function;
- Act as Compensation Manager for specific aligned countries, providing support and advice across Lines of Business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Relative HR and/or compensation experience;
- Experience implementing incentive plans;
- Proven consulting skills; ability to meet business goals through HR / Compensation strategies and to address issues/ devise solutions with creativity and innovation;
- Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues;
- Advanced MS Excel skills required;
- Well-developed analytical and strong planning and project management skills;
- Ability to drive and sustain operational excellence and to develop controls.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Exceptional systems skills; Business Objects and Web intelligence / Desktop Intelligence skills preferred.
