An opportunity has arisen for individual to join the multidisciplinary team within the Emergency operating departments based in Ninewells Hospital. The post holder will work collaboratively to promote the delivery of evidence based patient care.
The successful applicant will be based at the above mentioned site, but may be required to vary their workplace within the area covered by NHS Tayside, as required.
Applicants must have good communication skills and demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement care for peri-operative patients. You will play an important part in the patient’s journey, working within the operating department in the care and treatment of patients undergoing emergency and urgent surgical procedures.
We are committed to investing in the continuing professional development of our staff and currently support staff to complete degree level modules with the University of Dundee or Edinburgh Napier University (dependant on area of practice).
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC register or equivalent (HPC ODP NVQ Level 3 / Diploma) and demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development relevant to previous experience.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week on a 12 hour shift pattern with a commitment to day / night rotation and on call if required by clinical area
