Day Hospital and Chemotherapy
Band 5 £30,229 to £37,664 (pro rata)
Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance (pro rata)
15 Hours per Week

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our small team of nurses in the Day Hospital/Chemotherapy services at Western Isles Hospital.
The Day Hospital/Chemotherapy service is situated within the Ambulatory Care Unit and provides a wide range of day case therapies and diagnostic investigations such as: infusion service (including SACT Chemotherapies, Monoclonal Antibodies, Iron infusions etc) blood transfusions, venesections, ambulatory monitors, TIA clinic and CT coronary angiography.
Applicants should ideally have post registration experience working in acute care and have an interest in Chemotherapy Nursing. They will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
The applicant should show commitment to delivery of high quality, safe, evidence based and effective care. You should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and education. Applicants should have completed their SACT Administration course or show a willingness to complete the course within the first 6 months.
