About the Role
Hatton are now recruiting for the position of Sign Technician / Yard Person. The successful candidate’s primary role will be to manufacture all special signs for standard day works and key events. You will also be responsible for keeping the yard areas in a clean and tidy state in line with the company H&S Policy and be involved in stock audits as required.
It holds a regular monthly salary as stated, and this role also qualifies for overtime at an uplifted rate based on the salary set.
You will be expected to make your own way in to and from work each shift Mon-Fri.
No previous experience necessary and as part of the role you will receive full training, including:
· Sign Design Training
· Fork-lift Certification (in house counterbalance)
· Cutting & Grinding Qualification (abrasive wheels)
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Special sign manufacture (events and day-works)
· Vehicle loading (events and day-works)
· Stock management
· Maintaining cleanliness of the depot and yard areas
· Operating fork truck
Desired Skills & Experience
· Computer literate
· Organised with an attention to detail
· Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
· A hands-on self-starter with well-developed interpersonal & communication skills
