About the Nursing Home:

This homely Nursing Home offers care to adults with Dementia, Mental Health Condition, Old Age and Physical Disability; This is provided across separate specialist units. Residents receive round-the-clock care in a secure and hygienic facility, whilst being allowed the freedom to pursue their own lifestyles and hobbies, within the home or amongst community leisure services.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) within the Nursing Home involves:

• Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
• Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
• Creating individualised care plans for residents.
• Updating care plans daily.
• Safely administering and recording of medication.
• Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
• Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
• Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
• Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.

Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) role:

• You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD)
• Active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
• Clear DBS.
