Job Title: Travel Health Immunisation Nurse/Nurse Trainer – Hybrid Role
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Salary: £31,000-34,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Contract: Full time
Location: Glasgow

Job Summary
An expanding and people focused company, UK Health Enterprises via its brand Emcare, provides an accessible, friendly travel health clinic offering a comprehensive travel health service for all types of travellers.
In addition to our travel clinic, we run a successful training business and this position who be a hybrid role to include delivering healthcare training courses to various clients in the health and social care sector.
This position offers a unique opportunity to have a diverse and engaging role across our two business divisions. Working as part of a busy team in our Glasgow City Centre clinic and also visiting clients to deliver a range of training courses.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number with current clinical experience in a health care setting. Ideally, with some experience in delivering education and training. The role requires the individual to be highly organised, with great communication skills and excellent time management.
The successful candidate would:
- Carry out risk assessments and administer travel vaccinations including Hep A, Typhoid, DTP, Cholera
- To provide the delivery of high quality travel advice according to the clients destination
- Deliver a range of healthcare training courses to suit various client needs
· Work to ensure the success of the business in compliance with clinical and training protocols and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number
- Travel Medicine qualification or experience is desirable but full training will be provided
- Clinical experience of delivering vaccinations is essential
- Experience of delivering education or training is desirable in health or social care
- Hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and planning skills and be committed to representing the business in this client facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
