Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Full Time – Permanent, 37.50 hours per week plus alternate weekends and overtime available
Salary: Up to 22.20 an hour per hour dependent on experience
We have day and night nurse positions available.

We are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN), Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) and/or Registered General Nurses (RGN) with a passion for providing excellent, professional, and effective care whilst ensuring our service users feel safe and respected. Over recent years we have undertaken extensive development work to become the care home it is today.
Our focus is recovery for our patients with quality care and measurable outcomes at the centre of all we do. We boast a full MDT with Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology and Occupational Therapy practitioners on site as well as a very able team of Senior support workers, support works, Therapies assistants and more.
Being a smaller care home gives us the opportunity to coach and mentor our team as well as giving real ability for individuals to take a role in service design and bring their innovative ideas to the fore.
Key Responsibilities:
Your day will involve tasks such as:
- Producing and updating person centred care plans, writing and signing off incident reports, and risk assessments based on nursing assessments and observations.
- Contributing to the service development by auditing and implementing the improvement plans.
- Working as a Nurse in Charge, you will provide visible leadership to the healthcare workers, setting the example of providing outstanding care.
- Following the company protocols and policies, along with your NMC guidelines, you’ll take ownership of completing and maintaining the person-centred care plans by including the views of the service-users, their relatives and other (internal/external) healthcare professionals.
- Completing the medication administration on the unit
What we require from you:
- A valid NMC pin
- Excellent communication skills to engage well with the service-users, relatives, and external stakeholders.
- Good report writing skills.
- A good understanding and experience of service user’s diagnoses, treatment, and recovery
- Good IT Skills – must be able to document/report service-user care records and incidents accurately on mobile devices and computer.
- A good working attitude and a team player
