Registered General Nurse Overview

Our Registered General Nurses lead and manage a small team of Carers with a coaching and supportive leadership style, to ensure our nursing service is appropriately staffed with a skilled team that provide individualised, holistic care and support to our residents.


  • Our Residents; Formulate care plans to meet resident needs and review them as needs change, conduct monthly clinical needs assessments and risk assessments, manage all aspects of End of life care, involve the resident and significant others in all aspects of care and support.

  • The Team; Day to day care direction of the care team with support and guidance to improve skills, comprehensive handovers at the end of each shift, conduct regular one-to-one reviews, annual appraisals and training as necessary.

  • Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor stock levels and order accordingly, receive and check medication deliveries, conduct monthly medication audits.
