We're looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our team on a one year fixed term basis.
As a leading housing charity, mhs homes owns and manages more than 10,000 homes in north Kent. We’re looking for a talented and creative communications professional to help support our work tackling the county’s housing crisis.
It’s an exciting time to join mhs homes as we drive forward our approach to customer communications and engagement, delivering great services and making sure people feel supported and listened to.
You’ll play a lead role in raising awareness of our work in local communities, writing the stories that people care about and helping to engage our audiences across a range of external and customer channels.
As well as identifying and researching opportunities for positive news stories, you’ll write and produce press releases and website articles. And you’ll take a lead role in growing engagement with our social channels, developing high quality digital content to reach and inspire our target audiences.
This is an interesting and varied job with lots of scope for learning and development. If you’re an enthusiastic and creative communicator who wants to use their skills to help make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
About you:
- A skilled writer and storyteller, with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of managing social media channels and growing engagement with key audiences
- Good people skills
- Highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities
