Job description

The Royal British Legion is a fast-growing company that provides a range of services to people with disabilities. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis and provide quality care in our Broadstairs location.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and other individuals in the facility.
• Ensure that the nursing care plan is implemented and updated as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, admissions, discharges, and other information necessary for quality improvement.
• Participate in patient assessments, diagnostic tests, and other clinical procedures.
• Participate in the development of nursing care plans for patients.
• Provide training for new staff members and other staff members as needed.
• Communicate with patients, their families, physicians, and other individuals about their care.
• Participate in the development of new policies and procedures for the facility.
• Work with physicians to ensure appropriate treatment for patients.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a skilled-nursing setting (RN preferred) preferred.
• Previous experience working with patients with physical disabilities (preferred)
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £19.75-£20.82 per hour

• Broadstairs: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• NMC (required)

Work Location: In person
