Job description
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated registered nurse to join this busy and rewarding department.
You must have a positive outlook to work and the ability to inspire and support others. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with a wide ranging Multidisciplinary team. You will be key to ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained.
Job Summary:
1. Participate in all ward activities as an effective team member, supporting
the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and Sister, taking delegated team
leadership responsibilities.
2. To assess care needs, and the development, implementation and
evaluation of programmes of care, in collaboration with the
multidisciplinary team.
3. To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and to act as a role
model to junior staff.
4. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
