A global events business with a strong reputation amongst its blue-chip client base is looking to grow its marketing team and needs a Head of Marketing to help them deliver from a strategic viewpoint. Their portfolio of B2B events spans seven diverse industries and garners attention from business professionals from around the globe.
With over 25 years’ of experience, they have a reputation as a leading voice on industry trends, new technology and best practices; they’re no stranger to catering to the ever-changing needs of their communities.
The company are looking for a strategic, enthusiastic and results-focused leader who enjoys taking a holistic and collaborative approach to deliver highly targeted and powerful marketing strategies to drive delegate acquisition and commercial sponsorships.
As the Head of Marketing, you’d be leading a diverse and dynamic marketing team to help increase engagement and optimise technology and output. You will also be a key member of the executive team meaning you’ll help develop a compelling and differentiating brand positioning within each vertical that will underpin the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities:
- Leverage and optimise HubSpot to drive leads and increase revenue
- Researching, testing and integrating new marketing technologies to ensure growth and best-in-class campaigns
- Developing and monitoring marketing budgets across all brands
- Develop talent within the marketing team, hiring and training to drive performance
- Creating an overarching omnichannel marketing strategy for delegate acquisition, demand/ lead generation and inbound leads
- Leading the charge on data segmentation and data mining for highly targeted campaigns
Key skills the successful candidate will:
- Extensive experience working in B2B events (Conference experience is desirable)
- Demonstrated track record of leading a marketing team and developing successful marketing strategies
- Showcase strong leadership, project management and decision-making skills
- Be analytical and understand the best use of data and test new strategies
- Be commercially savvy and have an eye for growth with innovative recommendations
