Sister/Charge Nurse (Magherafelt)
Job Title: Sister/Charge Nurse
Location: Magherafelt
Salary: £20 – £22 per hour (£42,000 per annum)
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sister/Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team in Magherafelt. As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of nurses to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of nurses, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients, using evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients.
- Monitor and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff, promoting their professional development.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in dealing with patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Proven experience as a Sister/Charge Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in nursing.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
