Role Summary
- To advertise vacancies, write JDs, format CVs, coordinate interviews and complete compliance process, engage with candidate post offer, offer pastoral support, develop relevant pipelines, to source job boards for suitable candidates, to register new applicants, check eligibility and right to work and manage end to end recruitment process
- To liaise between the preferred candidates, the Recruitment Team and the recruiting manager to ensure that recruitment processes take place as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
- Utilise marketing tools to advertise each role, maximising the use of the sourcing channels available (job boards, social media etc.) to identify the most talented candidates in the industry (headhunting). Range to include VSM staff in addition to medical and nursing staff.
Skills & Experience
- This role will require the post-holder to possess previous healthcare recruitment experience and display an excellent understanding of a range of recruitment/induction and on-boarding procedures and to exercise their judgment to resolve problems and unblock any barriers to a smooth recruitment process.
- The post holder will have a wide healthcare professional network and be confident in using social media channels to headhunt.
- The post-holder must be able to work independently and follow the policies and procedures for the department. The post-holder will be expected to use their own initiative and keep managers and senior colleagues informed.
- This is a role with lots of variety and ad-hoc demands and therefore the post-holder will possess excellent time management and planning skills. This post may develop over time, to meet the specific needs of the unit and the changing demands on the service.
- Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programmes

Working hours are a standard 37.5 per week and this post is offered under KCS Terms and Conditions, which differ from NHS Terms & Conditions.
