Are you an experienced Finance Assistant who is looking for a new role that offers flexibility, enhanced holidays and a fantastic pension? This is a permanent position that is varied and rewarding. The client is keen to find someone who is dedicated, hard working and keen to become part of a small but strong finance department. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Processing weekly bank receipts and chasing any outstanding payments
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Managing payment runs – weekly/ monthly
  • Processing expenses and credit card payments
  • Assist senior management with reports
  • Create and manage adjustment to key company files
  • Work closely with the CFO and senior team members to improve processes
  • Respond to supplier queries
  • · Assist with budgeting and other ad-hoc tasks

Your Profile:

  • Highly experienced working within a finance team. Ideally AAT qualified but not essential)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Confident to work in a smaller team and manage your own work loads
  • Friendly and approachable, happy to form strong working relationships with team and senior management
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail, willing to challenge where appropriate
  • Experience of dealing with businesses and the public
