The Admissions Recruiter will support the department of Admissions by:
- Developing a recruitment territory while maintaining an awareness of developments within the territory and establishing long term relationships to meet enrollment goals
- Engaging in the recruitment of top student prospects (first-year students)
Reading and evaluating (first-year student) admission files; and performing data entry for the Office of Admissions
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One or more years of professionally related experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Familiarity with computer software programs; proven ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-task, goal attaining environment
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote the benefits of a small, Catholic College sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy
- Able to work with a wide range of people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable making presentations to groups
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining a personable attitude with attentiveness to detail
- Ability to be creative while dealing with stress associated with goal attainment and meeting deadlines; ability to set appropriate priorities
- Tolerates work related stress effectively and maintains self-control/professionalism
Schedule:
Full-time salaried/exempt position required to work a varied schedule. Evening, weekend work, and travel is required.
Exempt employees are eligible to accrue and use 6 weeks of time off per year.
