The Admissions Department has new openings for Admissions Recruiters!


The Admissions Recruiter will support the department of Admissions by:

  • Developing a recruitment territory while maintaining an awareness of developments within the territory and establishing long term relationships to meet enrollment goals
  • Engaging in the recruitment of top student prospects (first-year students)
  • Reading and evaluating (first-year student) admission files; and performing data entry for the Office of Admissions

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • One or more years of professionally related experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Familiarity with computer software programs; proven ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-task, goal attaining environment
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote the benefits of a small, Catholic College sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy
  • Able to work with a wide range of people
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable making presentations to groups
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining a personable attitude with attentiveness to detail
  • Ability to be creative while dealing with stress associated with goal attainment and meeting deadlines; ability to set appropriate priorities
  • Tolerates work related stress effectively and maintains self-control/professionalism

Schedule:

Full-time salaried/exempt position required to work a varied schedule. Evening, weekend work, and travel is required.

Exempt employees are eligible to accrue and use 6 weeks of time off per year.
