We are currently seeking a Records Manager, to be a part of our Group Data Governance and Data Privacy team. This role could be ideal for you, if you’re seeking a new and vibrant challenge, with the prospect to showcase your experience and capabilities. We are presently going through a record management transformation and you will be given the opportunity to develop and implement the record change process/strategy in Aviva.
A bit about the job:
The Group Data Governance and Data Privacy team is responsible for setting the global data policy and direction for the Group. As the Group Records Manager, you will support the Group Data Governance Lead to design and implement Aviva’s information and records management strategy. This will involve, having an oversight and governance of records management status across the Aviva Group via management information and ongoing support, support in the oversight of third- party records management suppliers to ensure that Aviva records are retained or destroyed accordingly.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience producing management information on the status of records holdings
- Good stakeholder management and an ability to build relationships across a variety of markets/functions and geographies, championing the benefits of good Records Management
- Good understanding of information management and security principles and the value of information governance to an organisation
- Some experience in providing support to the business for information management issues, including the development of guidance and training
- Any experience with digital records management will be a bonus, e.g. O365 E5 licence capabilities, SharePoint etc
