Job description
The Barn Cafe' are seeking full-time receptionist/ shop assistant to join our small team for the upcoming seasoning. job start date beginning of March.
About Us
We are located in a remote but beautiful part of the North West Highlands at Sands Caravan and Camping in Gairloch, Wester Ross. Just 3 miles off the North Coast 500 route the campsite and cafe are always busy.
The reception and shop are open 7 days a week
About the job
Roles include:
- Welcome new arrivals
- use booking software
- Make new bookings
- Answer telephone
- Serving customers in the shop
- Stocking shelves in shop
- Maintain shop and reception cleanliness
The ideal candidate:
- Confident people-person
- Good team player
- Warm, welcoming and smiley
- Past experience ideal but not necessary
- Easy-going
- Flexible with work hours (and split shifts)
Important details:
- £12 per hour
- Staff meals
- 50% off cafe food
- 20% off campsite shop (everything you will need is here)
- Accommodation is your own purpose built apartment.
- Variable hours but at least 40 and at least 1.5 days off a week
- Reception/shop open from 8.30am - 8pm peak season
