About the role
Due to continued growth and internal movement the RSM Newcastle office is looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to join a busy and established team. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, dynamic self-starter who is always up for a challenge who is also willing to roll their sleeves up where needed and work in a collaborative style.
The role requires excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with Stakeholders at all levels across the business as well as liaising with external RSM Clients.
We are looking for someone to work Mon-Weds 8.30-5pm on site in the Newcastle Office.
Responsibilities
Reception Cover
To answer all incoming calls in a timely fashion

To greet all visitors coming into the reception area with the utmost professional courtesy and respect

To book meeting rooms, liaise with all RSM staff and co-ordinate the booking system to ensure it is kept up to date

To set up meeting rooms to the required meeting room layout and restore the room to standard set up after use

To prepare refreshments for meetings and office events

To support office events when required. May occasionally include some early mornings and late afternoons with notice

To book couriers and taxis for clients and staff as required
- To manage incoming/outgoing post requirements for the office
Administration
- Printing, Scanning and Photocopying documentation
- Assisting with in house client and networking events
- Ad hoc administrative duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
Personal and professional qualities
Excellent communications skills- Strong team working ability and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- A working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to remain discreet working with confidential matters
- Commitment to, and enthusiasm for, client service and delivery
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively within the team and the organisation
- Ability to multi-task, manage and meet the deadlines and maintain a high quality of work
- Possess a personal presentation that reflects a professional image and the values of the organisation
- National 4/5 English and Maths
- Flexibility is required and an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Possess adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work
