Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a committed part-time Front of House/Receptionist to join us on the outskirts of Norwich to job share with our current receptionist. The hours required are Thursdays 8.30am to 5.00pm and Fridays 8.30am to 4.30pm, however we would ask for flexibility to cover holiday for your co-worker. We are looking for someone who is friendly, efficient with a flexible approach but above all someone who cares about offering a great service and behave in line with our values. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Answer email, phone, welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming/outgoing post and parcels.
- Manage stationery orders, as well as any catering requirements.
- Manage meeting rooms, ensuring the rooms are clean and tidy between meetings and be willing to offer refreshments to meeting attendees as required.
- Monitor kitchen areas for cleanliness, stock and ensure coffee machine is cleaned on a daily basis.
- Provide administration support.
- Liaise with external engineers to carry out annual service and ad hoc issues.
- Attend Tenant meetings as and when required (in co-worker’s absence).
- Develop and maintain good relations with other tenants.
The successful candidate will:
- Outstanding customer service skills and demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with a warmth, upbeat and positive attitude.
- Have excellent administration and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Be an organised individual who can manage time with the ability to prioritise their own workload.
- Be professional, trustworthy, courteous and reliable.
- Good IT skills.
- Be resourceful in problem solving.
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role.
