Matchmade in Wales is a professional matchmaking and dating agency dedicated exclusively to Wales. We are currently seeking an Assistant Matchmaker and Headhunter to join our expanding team, deliver exceptional matchmaking services to clients, and help us shape the future of the business. ABOUT US:
Matchmade in Wales brings the traditional matchmaking experience to Wales with a fresh and modern approach. Clients are assigned their own personal Matchmaker who will get to know them and work with them to find a compatible life partner.
LOCATION: 100% Remote
This is a remote position. It is preferable for candidates to be based in Wales and familiar with the area, as we are a Welsh company catering to clients living in Wales and the borders.
HOURS: Part Time
2-4 hours per week will be required initially. As we continue to grow, we may be able to offer the right candidate additional hours and opportunities for career advancement within the agency. The position is completely flexible to fit around your schedule, so it is also suitable for someone with other work commitments. Your availability will be discussed if you are offered an interview.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a confident individual with an extensive network who is able to demonstrate an ability to identify, approach, and bring in potential clients. You will be responsible for headhunting new members ('heart-hunting' as we like to call it!), making appropriate matches, and using your networking and business development skills to grow our client list.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to find potential matches and recruit new clients.
- Familiarity with different dating app platforms.
- Confident using Zoom, social media, and business networking platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Mastery of English.
- Strong sales and communication skills.
- Research and networking skills.
- Must be well presented with a professional attitude.
- Punctual and reliable, and able to work to a deadline.
- Comfortable mixing with professionals.
- Experience in customer service is a bonus but not essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting research to identify and bring in new clients, and finding potential matches for existing clients based on their preferences and requirements. This is the headhunting aspect of the role and will be carried out through various channels, such as social media, online dating sites, and virtual networking events.
- Ability to write captivating client profiles.
- Refer single people from your personal and professional network to the database (either free or Premium members), and identify compatible candidates for Premium members.
- Raise awareness of Matchmade in Wales' services and come up with creative ideas to build our online presence.
- Assisting with general matchmaking duties and administrative tasks if required.

PAY:
£10.42 p/h. Salary is negotiable, starting at a level dependent on your previous experience. This will be discussed in your interview.
