Based in seaside town of Cromer on the North Norfolk Coast, Cromer Hospital is part of the wider Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Trust and is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Outpatient Reception Team

Cromer Outpatients hosts clinics for specialties including Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology and Nephrology to name a few. It is a very busy and interesting environment, having a hard-working and forward-thinking philosophy with patient care at the focus of what we do.

Full and part time hours available

You will work as part of a busy team and respect and integrity are an essential part of the ethos of working together that drives our department. This is a busy role with varying demands, so building an effective rapport with colleagues and being ready to take their guidance and offer your support will be important.

You will provide a high-quality reception and support service within the Outpatients Department, and as such, will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust.

A versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a prerequisite of this post.

The receptionist is responsible for ensuring the correct and timely input of patient information onto the Patient Administration System, observing the rules of ‘real time data entry’. All aspects of this role should be carried out in line with the Trust Policies and Procedures on data collection and confidentiality. Confidentiality in all matters is of the utmost importance.

You will also support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values.
