Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, polite receptionist to assist in the daily organisation of the park. Taking phone calls, making bookings, arranging appointments and meetings for management & key events.
Must be experienced in this field of work, reception, admin etc.
Keeping paperwork, filing, emails, messages promptly dealt with, gift shop maintenence, dealing with customers, ensuring goods invoices are checked & sent to accounts. Keeping office organised and efficient.
A decent ability to use a computer/laptop - basic excel, letter writing, attaching files to emails, downloading and saving files etc.
Must be quick thinking, able to learn touch screen tills, answer phone calls, deal with customers with a high level of customer service, manage bookings, and assist the Park Supervisor & Park Manager.
Full training given.
Planning & organisational skills essential, you will be organising bookings as they come in, logging in the diary and passing information onto the relevant teams, eg Animal Team when they have a keeper experience, Catering Team lunch numbers for Birthday Parties.
Full Time and Part Time available. Weekends (can be alternate) and school holidays are essential.
Opening times 10am-5pm some later finishes available on request (eg late start late finish, or extra hours if you prefer)
University student would be considered if you have relevant experience.
Work available after the 'season' admin, bookings, organising and planning for 2023 season. Out of season work will include more involvement with management, further training and more in-depth involvement with accounts, planning, payroll, HR, licencing etc if you wish to develop your skills for career progression.
