Job description
- Answering and directing all incoming calls.
- Greeting all visitors and contractors and ensuring all of them sign in and out and are issued with temporary passes and making them aware of health and safety procedures.
- Ensure any visitors entering operational areas are issued with relevant safety clothing and footwear and maintain stock.
- Receive and distribute all incoming post; complete relevant paperwork for recorded and special deliveries and apply correct postage for all outgoing post.
- Arrange couriers.
- Arrange taxi bookings.
- Order stationery and maintain stock.
- Pool car management.
- Arrange meeting room bookings.
- Raise purchase requisitions for supply of goods from external vendors.
- Undertake project work as requested in order to support the HR function.
- Previous receptionist and switchboard experience.
- Excellent customer service.
- Strong communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Well presented with a smart appearance and helpful & friendly manner.
- Good organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications particularly Outlook and Word.
Hours:
- 8.30am - 1.30pm Monday to Friday.
- £10.50ph + Benefits.
