Job description

We have exciting opportunities to join our Board!

Homes in Sedgemoor is a council owned housing management company, which is passionate about providing good quality, safe homes, great services for our customers and exploring opportunities to create a stronger business.

We are looking for new Board Members who share our passion and strategic focus to place Homes in Sedgemoor at the front of excellent housing management and deliver the very best service, the safest homes and the strongest possible voice to our customers. This is a remunerated role; for a time commitment of approximately 10 days per year plus ambassadorial activities, you will receive £2500 plus expenses.

We currently have two vacancies:

  • Customer Board Member - As a tenant of Homes in Sedgemoor you will have a unique chance to ensure the voice of tenants is central to every decision we make. Whilst your lived in experience is important we want to make the most of your other skills and knowledge.
  • Board Member - You do not necessarily need to be a customer of Homes in Sedgemoor, but we are particularly interested in people who can bring expertise in property development, risk management and commercial activities.

To view the Recruitment Pack, and for more details about how to apply, please visit the vacancies section of our website www.homesinsedgemoor.org or call 0800 585 360.

Closing date for both roles is Monday, 15 May, 2023

Our ARC meetings take place four times a year and are mainly held virtually. Where the meetings are held face to face these will be held at our offices in Bridgwater, Somerset.
