Facilities Assistant / Receptionist
We are recruiting a Facilities Assistant/Receptionist at Healix in Esher, Surrey, to join our small, friendly Facilities team
The Facilities Assistant / Receptionist will provide a professional facilities and reception service, contribute the smooth running of the Esher offices and act as a professional first point of contact for staff, clients and visitors.
KEY ACTIVITES/MAIN DUTIES
- Answering all incoming calls politely and efficiently, advising of alternative contact information where possible.
- Keeping accurate records of all monetary transactions e.g. Sandown parking tickets.
- Maintaining stock e.g. groceries, stationary and janitorial supplies.
- Keeping reception area tidy and welcoming at all times
- Preparing and setting up meeting rooms, as well as delivering lunches
- Tidying tea point area across all floors and keeping showers area clean and topped up with toiletry supplies.
- Sorting incoming mail, distributing these as required and arranging outgoing post.
- Monitoring the buildings for health, safety and fire hazards on an on-going basis.
- Fire alarm testing and taking on the role of Fire Warden and coordinating the necessary refresher training.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Personable, confident character with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and general administrative skills
- Polite friendly manner with a positive “can do attitude”
- Team player, flexible attitude and ability to adapt with changing priorities of the business
- Diligent worker, taking responsibility for tasks and ensuring completion
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel.
