Position Summary
This is a key role within a dedicated specialised team, developing and implementing new engineering toolsets and lean improvements across multiple sites contributing to one of the largest Dynamics-365 rollouts globally.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Lead, in this role you will be part of a Software development team, liaising with sales, operations, engineering and multiple Rotork sites and ISV’s across the globe.
In this role you will be working on one of the most critical and complex parts of the D365 system infrastructure, supporting the development of the future infrastructure of product configurators to handle a wide range of complex products and system integrations across the Rotork group. You will be developing toolsets using a range of different technologies to continuously develop and improve complex configurator models, their ongoing maintenance, architecture, and efficient operation.
This role would suit a process driven person who can work in a challenging, fast-paced environment delivering end-to-end solutions.
Experience Requirements
- Experience working with multiple programming languages including C#, SQL, Json, Node.js, React, Typescript, Javascript and Next.js
- Relevant experience in a software engineering or science discipline
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable
- Previous experience of working on Agile projects
- Is methodical and enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, can identify, investigate and resolve problems
- Has excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information with a non-technical audience when required
- Can work to tight deadlines and switch priorities quickly
- Is team player that shares knowledge and insights, but also able to demonstrate a strong level of initiative
