Job description

our client, a reputable company based in central London, currently seeking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This is a temporary position with an assignment ending date of 16/05/23. The initial contract will be for a period of 1 week, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance. However, this is subject to change.

Working Hours:

  • Start Time: 8:30 AM
  • Finish Time: 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Provide general administrative support, such as managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies
  • Assist with sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Assist in organizing company events and conferences
  • Handle inquiries and provide information to visitors, clients, and employees
  • Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring access and issuing visitor badges
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient office operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software, including MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
