our client, a reputable company based in central London, currently seeking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This is a temporary position with an assignment ending date of 16/05/23. The initial contract will be for a period of 1 week, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance. However, this is subject to change.
Working Hours:
- Start Time: 8:30 AM
- Finish Time: 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Provide general administrative support, such as managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
- Assist in organizing company events and conferences
- Handle inquiries and provide information to visitors, clients, and employees
- Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring access and issuing visitor badges
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software, including MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
