Description

Every Cylinder is partnered with a Chorley-based IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their Project Team.

You will be involved in the planning, coordinating and delivering IT projects for clients. You will help deliver projects on time and ensure budget requirements are matched. Our partner seeks someone with excellent communication skills who can build long-standing client relationships. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple workloads.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as a project administrator or junior project manager, with experience communicating directly with clients. Ideally, you should have a background working on projects with the IT or Technology sector and know how businesses use IT to meet their goals. A project management qualification such as PRINCE II is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to senior management as needed
• Manage the relationships with clients and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimise project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
