A fantastic position has opened in the Clapham Junction area for an experienced Dental Receptionist, to work in a well-established specialist practice.
Who we are: A fast-paced mixed NHS and private practice close to Clapham Junction train station.
The role: This role requires an experienced Dental Receptionist. You will be meeting and greeting patients, handling calls, booking appointments, and managing clinicians’ diaries.
Position: Dental Receptionist
Pay rate: as advertised (depending on experience)
Working hours: min 40 hours per week (full-time position)
- from Monday to Friday (as per rota) 7.5/8.75 hours from 08:45 to 17:15/18:30
- and Saturdays from 9:45 – 14:00
Start date: Upon review and shortlisting candidates, we will perform the interviews (in the next 2-3 weeks).
Required experience:
- Must have 1 year of dental receptionist experience
- Must have experience working in NHS/Private (mixed) practice
Required skills:
- Must have strong working experience in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 platform
Required attributes:
- Must have strong reception and administration skills
- Friendly personality, customer service experience and team player
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Must have friendly and gentle manner, ability to relate to patients
- Must be willing to learn and progress
- Must be reliable and well organised
- Must be calm under pressure
- Must have excellent organisational skills
- Have a great command of the English language (written and spoken)
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of AssistOrth DoIt
- Completed NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing
