Would you like to like to develop and enhance your career? An opportunity has arisen within Ward 5 at the Queen Margaret Hospital for Health Care Support Worker to join our team.
You will be expected to provide support to the nursing team, by carrying out an extended range of assigned clinical tasks as well as direct patient care. You will work as part of a team promoting the delivery of high quality, seamless, equitable and accessible care to patients. You must have effective communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. An active interest in working within a Care of the Older Adult setting and the ability to rise to the challenge of working within Rehabilitation setting is essential.
Minimum significant experience working a Band 2 (or equivalent) is required. You will be expected to participate in any training required and work on a regular basis without direct supervision from a registered nurse.
Ward 5 offers a rotational shift pattern, consisting of days and nights over 7 days. The ward currently works a 12.5 hour shift pattern.
