We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, welcoming Guest Experience Host to join our Front Office Team.
Purpose and Responsibilities
A key member of the Front Office Team ensuring all guests receive and exceptional, seamless, professional and tailored experience.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Working closely with the Front Office Team in the delivery of exceptional guest experiences for all hotel guests following standards and procedures.
- Engage and build relationships with colleagues, regular guests, first-time guests, residents and non-residents, quickly assessing guest needs and flexing style appropriately.
- Establish close working relationships with all departments and colleagues.
- Ensure that through the promotion of knowledge, expertise and personality, incredible experiences are created, and a great reception and welcome is delivered for everyone.
What we would like you to bring:
- Good general level of education.
- 1 years' experience as a receptionist in a hotel environment.
- Knowledge and use of property management, CRM and room key systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Great guest care skills in all situations.
- Flexible attitude and team worker.
If you can demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage:
- Knowledge and use of Protel or Protel Air PMS system.
- Ability to speak a second language.
- Passion for environmental, sustainability, charity, community or volunteering activities.

Reporting to the Deputy Hotel Manager, the role is full-time, 40-hours per week, working to a flexible rota with a 30-minute break included.
