Job description

The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking an experienced Receptionist who will be responsible for ensuring that all activities and tasks of the reception desk are completed according to standards. Who will be responsible for dealing with all calls and queries in a confident, professional, efficient manner.

As Receptionist your key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure that all guests receive warm and courteous service upon check-in and check-out.
  • To co-ordinate guest requests with other departments in a timely manner.· To handle all cashier transactions accurately and according to hotel standards
  • To attend to all callers quickly and politely answering all calls within the 3rd ring and according to The Chelsea Harbour Service Culture Standard
  • To be knowledgeable in the operation of all equipment in the Switchboard, of the hotel facilities, daily events, and all fire and emergency procedures
  • To communicate with all members of staff developing a good working relationship.

As Receptionist, the essential skills required are:

  • Ability to operate a telephone switchboard.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera System
  • Good telephone manners and excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Customer service experience
  • Multitasking and prioritizing
