To ensure the effective and efficient supply food, goods, and equipment to the kitchen and peripheral areas. To comply with food safety and health & safety regulations at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries of food and other goods. Inspecting goods for quality and food safety.
• Breaking down deliveries, sorting them, and moving food and goods to the appropriate kitchen areas.
• Taking food safety information such as product temperatures. Accurate recording of food safety due diligence information.
• To ensure all operating and, food safety and health & safety standards are followed at all times.
• Assisting the Logistics Manager and Back of House Supervisor in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all back of house catering functions.
• Receiving client goods, logging items in the internal mail system, answering the telephone and emailing clients when goods have arrived.
• Setting up and breaking down events, function rooms, and cooking equipment such as BBQs.
• Moving heavy goods and equipment safely around the business.
• General cleaning and dishwashing tasks in support of the wider business.

• Must be hard working and willing to learn.
• Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
• Demonstrates a high level of organisation and time management.
• Supportive team player.
• Excellent record keeping.
