Dental Receptionist
We are looking for a full time dental receptionist to join our friendly team in our Melksham practice. We are a NHS and mixed practice offering private, Denplan and Invisalign treatment. We have 4 surgeries and are always very busy.
Job description:
- Welcoming patients and delivering a high-quality patient experience, it all starts as they walk through the door.
- Answering telephone calls and communicating with patients over the phone.
- Booking patients in using our SOE Exact system and managing dentists day lists ensuring space is being used effectively.
- Communicating and working as a team with all members of staff, to be able to book patients in effectively.
- Taking payments in person and over the phone.
- All administration tasks for example scanning documents in, emailing referrals, cashing up at the end of the day, filling out paperwork ect.
- Adhering to patient confidentiality and all dental guidelines.
Qualities and experience:
- Excellent standards of communication and organizational skills
- Excellent teamworking skills are essential as well as a friendly and positive working attitude.
- A warm, friendly and welcoming manner.
- Highly motivated.
- Punctual
- Previous dental receptionist experience preferred, but full training can be given for the right applicant.
- A receptionist that has dental decontamination skills or previous dental nursing skills would be a bonus to us but would need to be Hep B vaccinated.
- Computer literate, past experience on Exact is preferred but full training will be given.
Salary: Dependent up on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 8:15 - 16:45
- Friday 8:45 - 16:15
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
