Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced plumber to join our team on a subcontract basis, working on modular build houses on site in Nottinghamshire for an ongoing contract. You will be responsible for installing, plumbing systems in modular construction projects. Your expertise in plumbing installations and knowledge of UK building regulations will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality completion of plumbing tasks in these unique housing units.
Responsibilities:
Plumbing System Installation: Install Bathroom Suites, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings. 1st and 2nd fix plumbing for kitchen installation. Installation of hot water cylinder and associated component's.
System Testing: Perform tests to ensure proper functionality of plumbing systems, including pressure tests, leak detection, and drainage checks.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay up to date with UK plumbing codes and regulations, such as the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and the Building Regulations, to ensure all installations meet the required standards and maintain compliance.
Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with other subcontractors, construction teams, and project managers to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient completion of plumbing tasks within the project timeline.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Years Plumbing Experience
- Full Driving License
- Own Vehicle
- Own Hand Tools and Power Tools
- Public Liability
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25.00 per hour
