Job description
Portico are on the lookout for an organised and customer focused Welcome Host, for a multi-tenant corporate building offering premium office space in West London.
The building is a converted factory structure in a campus office environment, comprised of three inter-connecting blocks up to five storeys in height, with an on-site coffee bar and gardens.
Working alongside another team member, the Welcome Host will “own” the ground floor reception space, ensuring that all visitors receive a top-class service, and will drive occupier engagement within the building by arranging a range of events & activities.
This Welcome Host role caries plenty of responsibility and we are looking for someone who is comfortable to be accountable for multiple processes. They will need to ensure that the highest level of client care and personal service is delivered to all visitors, as well as working alongside the Facilities Manager and building owners to drive new initiatives to improve the customer experience.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the natural initiative to take tasks on automatically. They must be a people person and show good levels of flexibility and adaptability to respond to differing client needs. Enthusiastic and motivated, the successful candidate will be the go-to person in the building and will need to focus on building strong and lasting relationships with the tenants.
Customer service experience is required for the role, preferably within a corporate reception setting.
Experience of arranging events is desirable and will certainly benefit the successful candidate.
Shift pattern: 7am-5pm from Monday-Friday
Closest tube station: Hammersmith or Ravenscourt Park
Salary: £30,000-£31,000
