We are looking for a Competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. This is a medical practice - pain management.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, check in, check out.
- Obtain insurance information, benefits
- Work on prior authorizations
- Answer phones, triage call, and direct to the appropriate department.
- Knowledge with insurances and prior authorizations.
- Ability to take phone messages for physicians
- Required knowledge of EMR - Practice Fusion is what we use
- Ability to multi task and work well under stress.
- Administrative duties involved with coordinating patient and physician schedules
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
