Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized individual to provide good customer care abilities to all visitors to the Greenwich Community Mental Health Team at Ferryview Health Centre, who provide multi-disciplinary support to adults with mental health problems, and to co-ordinate the bookings of clinics and appointments in a busy outpatient reception area and providing administrative support working across the Team.
You must be computer literate, able to work accurately and effectively using your own initiative as part of a team.

To provide high standard of quality administrative support and building management functions for Community Mental Health based at Ferryview Health Centre.
To ensure the smooth day to day running of the Ferryview reception area by working as part of a team. Deal with all callers, visitors and staff in an appropriate and courteous manner. Be aware of client’s needs and provide assistance when required. Notify clinicians of arrival of clients.
Ability to deal unsupervised, sympathetically but assertively with clients
To act as the first point of contact verbally and face-to-face, receiving patients and relatives, carers, visitors for all services at Ferryview Health Centre. Dealing with enquiries from patients, health care professionals (both internal and external) with tact and discretion and maintaining a high standard of communication
To ensure visitors sign the visitor’s book at reception areas when entering and leaving the building.
To have a broad knowledge of the services available within Ferryview Health Centre in order to assist patients and redirect when necessary when using the centre services
To use empathy and tact when discussing sensitive issues with patients and staff.
