· Welcome and greet all customers who enter the site
· Engage with customers to offer assistance, making them feel warm and welcomed and understand their needs and requirements
· Answering the telephone
· Take bookings for accommodation, food & beverage and visitors centre across the site
· Administering check in and check outs
· Provide front desk services to guest
· Delivering mail and messages
· Processing guest payments
· Being a source of information for the guest
· Processing meal and beverage requests
· Service food and beverage to guest
· Accommodating general and unique requests
· Servicing housekeeping needs
· Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests
· Use sales techniques to maximise sales results and KPIs
· Meet daily sales targets set by the Commercial Manager
· Be aware of daily/weekly sales targets and performance in line with targets
· Play an active part in contributing towards the achievement of sales targets
· At point of sale confidently suggest additional add on purchases/upsell to the customer to increase average transaction value
· Accurately process customer transactions using the till system
· Where necessary escalate any issues concerning customer care to Commercial Manager
· Be aware of all current commercial activity in the retail
· Contribute towards ensuring the retail is kept clean, tidy and visually appealing to our customers
· Receive and process deliveries ensuring new products are displayed according to visual guidelines and all bestselling product lines are replenished as per company guidelines.
· Assist with floor moves as per direction from Commercial Manager and in-line with company guidelines.
· With direction from Commercial Manager ensure all promotion and markdown activity is actioned within given timescales as per company guidelines.
· Contribute towards ensuring the site is kept in a safe environment for both customers to experience and colleagues to work in
· Actively work together with other team members to create a positive work environment
· Be pro-active in developing own skills and knowledge in order to improve own and site performance
· Report any discrepancies regarding customer transactions to a member of Management.
· Be vigilant at all times to help minimise stock loss raising any suspicious activity to Commercial Manager
· Ensure all refunds are processed by a member of Management.
· Be careful when handling product to reduce levels of damage
· Ensure all damaged stock is processed and actioned in accordance with company policy.
· Ensure understanding and compliance with Company Policy and Procedures at all times
· Complies with all Health and Safety Legislation
· Undertake other duties as and when required
