A friendly and professional greeting is essential in making visitors feel comfortable and welcome when they arrive at our Hospices. We're looking for a Receptionist for our Newcastle Hospice to provide just that!

Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale Band 2 (Aligned with Agenda for Change)
Hours: Full & Part Time applications will be considered

What we are looking for:
- Significant Receptionist experience
- Experience within a customer service setting is desirable
- Ability to communicate with empathy and humility when dealing with visitors, patients and families
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office

As a Receptionist, you will play a key part in making sure that all visitors experience our friendly atmosphere from the moment they arrive. You will be the first point of contact that a visitor meets and will have the chance to present the hospice in the best light from the earliest opportunity.
You would be receiving phone calls, transferring the caller to the appropriate extension and taking messages as well as providing admin support. You will ensure confidentiality of patients, staff and visitors details at all times.
You may also spend time receiving donations and gifts at the hospice, dealing with them appropriately, occasionally booking transport, and ensuring the reception and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and clear at all times.
The successful candidate will be required to provide additional support to hospice administration as and when required.
