Receptionist - Part Time
Business Park Location, Uxbridge
We have an opportunity for a vibrant Front of House Receptionists to work 2 days per week.
You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role. You will deliver a high-level meet and greet service, as well introducing events and pops ups to help create a community vibe within the building.
The office building is located on a prestigious business park within easy reach of JCt4 M4, on the A408, with good bus links. There is also free parking at the building.
Hours and Salary

8am – 6pm Thursday & Friday (20 hours per week)
1 hour paid lunch break.

Key Responsibilities*

Reception*
- Delivering a warm, friendly welcome to tenants and visitors, following appropriate sign in protocols
- Ensuring the reception area always looks pristine and welcoming
- Managing deliveries - including couriers and post
- General Administration and support to the Building Manager
Building Management
- Work closely with the Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and help manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress log
- Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders
Tenant engagement
- Develop a good understanding of the local area and maintain a local amenities information file
- Research, develop, and communicate (when applicable) a programme of initiatives to increase the enjoyment for all those who work at the building e.g. pop ups, competitions
- Create and develop a monthly e: newsletter for tenants
- Support the Park Marketing team by keeping up to date with any activities or events at the Park which they have organised and help communicating such events to tenants
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role in an office environment
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to easily multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent PC user and confident using Microsoft Office and social media applications, Canva, and be willing to learn any in-house systems
