Receptionist
Central Leeds location
We have an opportunity for a vibrant Front of House Receptionist to work in a prestigious canal side office building, located in the commercial quarter of Leeds.
You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role. You will deliver a high-level meet and greet service, as well introducing events and pops ups to help create a community vibe within the building.
Hours and Salary
8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
£26,985 pa
Key Responsibilities
Reception
- Delivering a warm, friendly welcome to tenants and visitors, following appropriate sign in protocols
- Ensuring the reception area always looks pristine and welcoming
- Managing deliveries - including couriers and post
- General Administration and support to the off-site Building Manager
Building Management
- Working closely with the Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and help manage to resolution
- Managing contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress log
- Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders
Tenant engagement
- Develop a good understanding of the local area and create a local amenities information file
- Research, develop, and communicate (when applicable) a programme of initiatives to increase the enjoyment for all those who work at the building e.g. pop ups, competitions
- Create and develop a monthly e: newsletter for tenants
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role within an office environment
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to easily multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent PC user and confident using Microsoft Office and social media applications, and be willing to learn any in-house systems
