An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 44, planned Care for a 1st level trained nurse.
Ward 44 is a unique and newly formed 30 bedded combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and Colorectal surgical specialties.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care.
As this unit is the only one of its kind in Scotland you will be part of a forward thinking unit and committed to team working that benefits the patient as well as improving their journey.
We offer a full range of gastroenterology and colorectal services this includes bowel surgery, gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, and specialist management for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. All methods of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy are provided, including endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP essential for the network cancer services for GI and colorectal malignancy. You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in this combined speciality ward. We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communicators.
There will be supported mentorship available to you flying start programme to NQP. Training will be provided in all aspects of gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. Opportunities will be offered to embrace link nurse experience If this is what you are looking for we would like to hear from you.
