Due to progression within the business, LB Group are looking for a full-time receptionist to work alongside their current administration support team in their expanding Ipswich office. The role will support the work of our teams and be an ambassador for us to clients and connections as they visit.
This opportunity would suit a collaborative individual with previous professional reception and office experience with a warm and welcoming approach to their work.
This is a full-time office-based role working alongside our current administration support team, reporting to the Administration Support Manager.
Duties include:
· General administration skills
· Answering all incoming calls, transferring call, taking messages.
· Incoming and outgoing post
· Filing (paper and electronic)
· Meeting and greeting clients
Competencies:
· Friendly personality
· Excellent telephone manner
· Good communication skills (ability to communicate at all levels)
· Experience with Microsoft applications
· Ability and willingness to acquire new skills to the requirements of the position through “on the job” training
· Good and accurate typing skills
· Confidentiality
· Team player with ability to work on own initiative
· Experience of working in an accountancy practice is desirable but not essential.
The position requires good communication and presentation skills. It involves substantial contact with clients and staff, as well as many other individuals and organisations. We are extensively computerised, and experience of Microsoft applications is essential. Other systems are more specialised relating to accountancy services and administration which you will be fully trained on.
